NEARLY..
I think I’ve created all the pages and most of the content, all I need to do now is smooth out the css a bit and see if I can cut down on the loading time, it’s a bit slow at the moment, I know in flash you can make it so it waits for everything to load before the page is displayed, I’ll try find a way to do the same with my page/s.

Hosting.
I think I’ve found a good web hosting service to test the stonefest website on, byethost.com, they use FTP, give you 5500 mb of space and a free domain name to use.
seems easy to use, the in built FTB programs ok but not great.
Design Reference
For my Five reference websites I found N.design-studio, Web Designer Wall, Kimberly Coles website, Future Music Festival and Neweracaptalk, They don’t have seven characteristics that they share (maybe two or three) but by pulling different elements from each they create the design aesthetic that I’m looking for, I was unable to find an example of the exact “look” I’m I was searching for.
N.design-studio has most of the aesthetic elements I want to explore, I like the way the colours fade and blur, the header has depth to it which I like, makes the page look less flat or 2D. I want to use the kind of artwork found in N.desgn’s portfolio but I don’t know If I am able so I’ll try but if not, my other option is to use a similar style to Kimberly Coles or Web Designer Wall.
All for these sites are fixed to the centre of the page, and most have a two column content layout with the left column containing mostly paragraphs or images and the left with links or ads. They all have simple tab navigation at the top of the page under the title.
