10 things we noticed/learnt whilst in Paris:
Real baguettes are a flat on top not round,
There are no insects, seriously have not seen a single one,
Carole makes awesome onion soup,
French children sound way cuter than English speaking ones,
French drivers do not appear to follow road rules and honk a lot,
So far all the locals have been really friendly, helpful and polite (drivers excepted),
Ridiculously cheap cider still tastes great :-) only $2 for 750mls!
There are LOTS of camping and outdoor shops in Paris-entire shops devoted only to rock climbing or hiking shoes or snow jackets…
The Eiffel tower was a long walk from our apartment.
And the highlight: A patisserie we bought lunch from had penis shaped raison bread in a basket on the counter…
